Well, the video game competition was cancelled due to financial problems (>_<) but we still had a great time over labor day; bowling, swimming, going to the movies, all manner of fun, fun things. We also had our football game. Now, if you didn't know, my high-school's freshman team LAST YEAR went 0-9. For those of you who aren't football-savvy, that means zero wins and nine losses. As such, this year's freshman team has been teased with words of "0-9!" at every available opportunity.

BUT WE WON. YAYYYYYY.

Well, yeah. I've got to update.

Our next football game, which was supposed to be against one of the most ghetto schools in Nevada, named Western, was cancelled. Why? Western doesn't even have a freshman team. :/

Stupid ghetto schools.
Anyways, next weekend, for labor day, I'm going to my aunt's house where a bunch of friends and me and my brother will be holding the most awesome ultimate video game competition. I swear to god, I will dominate. Wish me luck.

This weekend, though, my father has his company picnic and we're going to a baseball game. It's one of those local teams, so it's not anything major league, but it's going to be great fun. It 's called the "Las Vegas Area 51's.". Go figure.

Ugh. We started some more football stuff. Watching tapes while we get to hear the coaches tell us how horrible we are. :/ Sure, it's fun and all, but blehhhh. We were kept over 45 minutes from the end of practice just so the coaches could get their sick kicks and make us run, all the while saying, "COME ON, BIGGUN, COME ON!" I feel like saying, "OMG SHUT UP". Yeah, I'm lame, but it's true. We have another scrimmage against a highschool called Centennial. We're gonna kick butt. Again.

Well, I thought I'd include a feature just because I'm incredibly bored and it seems like it'd be nice and fun for those of you who've never heard my music before to hear. So, every week, I'm going to post a lyric that I think is awesome. This week, it's from The New Radicals' song, "Jehovah Made This Whole Joint For You".

Well, hello there. Thought I'd give this blogging business a try, and I was partly influenced by friends. Short post today, blah. Got football practice today, had a scrimmage on Saturday that went totally awesome; we kicked butt. It was great. We won 21 to nothing. We're going to watch the films taken of our game today and see how we can improve, which'll be boring. Whatever. Later, guys.
